Ongoing event, “The Midnight Court”, participatory poetry and performance event based on the poetry of Brian Merriman with artist Marie Connole for local audience. Presided over by the Fairy Queen Aoibhil, this Public Court is a just setting for, and gives voice to the private and extremely humorous challenge of how men and women can meet to appreciate one another.
This work is approximately and hour in length, we usually serve tea along the way. It is a place where the private can become public in the anonymous use of questions and answers and a secret ballot box at the end in particular.
