Taking two wood lands- one in Ennistymon and the other at Kilnaseer, Co. Laois, as sites of operation, I am exploring questions of how different species can exist together, Discussion, filming, natural history, planting, drawing are used to record and represent the patina of place. The juxtapositions of the political, the poetic, the discursive, the sensitive,  historical and comtemporary interpretations will take the form of animated, drawing and instillation works. The diversity of all living things (biota) depends on temperature, precipitation, altitude, soils, geography and the presence of other species. The study of the spatial distribution of organisms, species, and ecosystems, is the science of biogeography.
