dress, soaked in Luxury

I put the dress soaked in luxury into the sea. The sea took it, swirled it around and I took photographs. When it looked like it was in danger of going off into the sea I ran in after it and took it back. What lead from this day’s explorations is a photograph of the dress- dress, soaked in luxury and three photographs of the dress in sucession as it wrapped itself around a rock. This work was commissioned by Ealaíon ar Oileáin, and exhibited in a solo show in Aras Eanna 2010.
